About Dr. Neal

Dr. Taryn Neal is a CA Clinical Psychologist PSY 27504, currently practicing in private practice in Newport Beach, California. Since 2007, Dr. Neal has been providing mental health therapy, focusing on counseling and psychotherapy in various clinical and hospital settings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts degree from Argosy University in Counseling Psychology, and a Doctor of Education degree from Argosy University in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Neal has effectively supported children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a wide range of emotional and psychological issues, including anxiety and depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, substance abuse, relationship counseling, parenting difficulties, stress, grief, and trauma. Additionally, she is a certified DBT and trauma therapist, as well as a Level 1 Gottman couples therapist and a certified Prepare Enrich therapist for couples seeking assessment and counseling. Through multi-modal approaches, including Gottman couples therapy, Family Systems, Emotion-focused, and Structural Family Therapy, Dr. Neal has successfully improved relationships, marriages, and families. She is happily married and has two children.
